Wild Life is vast and extensive in the south Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The forests of South India survive mainly along the Western Ghats, a range of fairly high hills that run parallel to the west coast of India.
Located in Kodagu and Mysore districts of Karnataka is the lush green tropical rain forest rich in wild life, flora, little streams, undulating valleys and fascinating waterfalls.

It is a magnificient eco system, full of life and activities of some of the most magnificent animals, birds and plant life.
This was the hunting ground of the ex Maharajas of Mysore. No wonder it was a paradise for them. Good clean surroundings, clean fresh air, aromatic trees like rosewood, teak, sandal, silver oak and plenty of wild game.
Nagarhole attracts wild life lovers from all over the world. Some of the wild life species found here are four horned antelope, panther, warblers hornbills, macaques, spotted deer, mouse deer, pangolin, gaur, giant flying squirrel, reptiles, lizards, snakes and a variety of Primates including black faced langur, rhesus monkey and gibbons.
Lodging facilities are excellent and services of naturalists are available along with excellent transport to explore the park. Those wanting to be more adventerous can visit the park on elephant back.
Jungles are a source of fresh air, fodder and medicines. Do not destroy them.
